A native of Texas, I have lived in Florida for over 17 years, attending middle and high school in the Florida Keys. I majored in film, graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Central Florida in 2007. I was the student director for the Campus Activities Board’s video production crew for two years, filming UCF homecoming events, campus concerts and athletics, as well as other student-requested events.

I joined the Orlando Sentinel in June 2007 and served as Community Manager of Opinion and as a videographer broadening the Orlando Sentinel’s digital audience. I was recently promoted to Video Projects & Programming Editor and am in charge of a team tasked with growing video views on OrlandoSentinel.com through regularly programmed video, live video events, and non-traditional, innovative video content.
